Message from the President
Asahi Suisan provides fresh fish to domestic and overseas customers on a daily basis under the motto of “Understanding and mastering”.
The most important thing for a fishmonger is, of course, to select the best fish, but imposing a fishmonger’s theory is not true connoisseurship.
What is important is to be able to choose the fish that best suits the customer’s point of view, which is what we believe is the true connoisseurship of a professional fishmonger.
We believe that our greatest mission is to master this connoisseurship and continue to meet the needs of our customers.
In recent years, with food safety and security being considered important on a global scale, we are the first middle wholesaler in Toyosu to acquire ISO22000 and FSSC22000 certification, the world’s highest standards for hygiene, and we have also acquired CoC certification for sustainable activities and are actively participating in them.
With these three weapons, Asahi Suisan aims to expand its overseas export business.
It is our dream to bring the day when people everywhere in the world can enjoy eating delicious Japanese fish from Asahi Suisan.
Asahi Suisan will continue to evolve with an innovative vision to meet the needs of our customers.
